We are looking for a Lead Ruby Developer to join our Payments team and help deliver the fastest, most customizable and seamless checkout experiences for our customers. You will lead the development and expansion of APIs and services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create secure and innovative solutions tailored to the individualized needs of merchants.

Lead the design and development of APIs and services for enhanced checkout experiences
Collaborate with engineers, product owners and designers to deliver high-quality solutions
Build and maintain a platform to securely integrate with new payment providers
Identify and solve complex technical problems with innovative approaches
Leverage tools like Prometheus, Sentry and Kibana for monitoring and operational intelligence
Drive operational efficiency by optimizing system performance and reliability
Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing and performance tuning
Advocate for team success and foster collaboration in a remote-first environment

Навички

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working with Ruby
Background in Scala, PHP (version 8) or similar technologies
Knowledge of application monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Sentry and Kibana
Experience building APIs and managing third-party integrations
Familiarity with secure payment solutions and e-commerce systems
Strong leadership and collaboration skills in a team-first culture
Capability to work effectively in a remote-first environment
English proficiency at B2 level or higher
