Team Lead Solution Architect for Healthcare Company

Currently, we are looking for a Remote Team Lead Solution Architect to join our team.

The client is a global leader in retail and wholesale pharmacy, touching millions of lives every day through dispensing and distributing medicines. The company has more than 170 years of trusted healthcare heritage and innovation in community pharmacy and pharmaceutical wholesaling. 

Responsibilities
  • Design, architect, build and implement a modern React Native based mobile application that is part of a large healthcare ecosystem platform to improve consumers’ access and experience in healthcare, thereby improving health outcomes and reducing aggregate costs
  • Act as the Solution Architect utilizing the Azure Cloud and Java-based technology stack
  • Create and refine best practices, documentation, and take the opportunity to share knowledge across the team
  • Research new technologies or methodologies that can improve the architecture, user experience, or development process
  • Translate product requirements and technical designs into well-engineered solution build
  • Implement PoC to prove/research feasibility of technical solution
  • Regularly collaborate with other developers, QA, product owners and designers on key architecture decisions to complete projects
  • Provide technical leadership, ensuring engineers understand our strategy and vision
  • Work with the Chief Architect and other Architects to drive individual delivery stream and overall program level solution architecture
  • Create and refine best practices, coding standards, and documentation, and takes the opportunity to share knowledge across the team
  • Research new technologies or methodologies that can improve the architecture, user experience, or development process
  • Specify technical solutions in clear and concise written documentation
  • Provide technical leadership, ensuring engineers understand our strategy and vision
  • Translate product requirements and technical designs into well-engineered solution build
  • Regularly collaborate with other developers, QA, product owners, and designers to complete projects
  • Participate and engage in all Scrum Ceremonies
  • Develop high-quality, working code features, and bug fixes
  • Participate in/lead regular code reviews, often in a mentorship role with other engineers to maintain high development standards
  • Collaborate with team members on key architecture decisions
  • Interface with team members to troubleshoot, debug, and fix issues in production and non-production environments
  • Engage and mentor other members on the team
Requirements
  • 6+ years of Java/Spring Boot/Kafka, Gradle,GraphQL, Azure Functions, CosmosDB experience
  • Experience in front end (ReactJS/ReactNative)
  • Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Git, arm templates, terraform experience
  • 1+ years of leadership experience
