Talent Development Specialist

We are looking for a Talent Development Specialist to join our team.

This role is dedicated to expanding learning opportunities, improving recruitment workflows, and supporting the advancement of new talent within the organization

Responsibilities
  • Oversee a structured recruitment pipeline that includes external training, pre-production, and integration into the production team
  • Customize and implement leading practices from the Global EPAM Campus for the Argentine market
  • Work closely with Recruiting and Marketing to optimize candidate flow
  • Assemble, guide, and manage a local team of administrators, trainers, and mentors
  • Supervise student education labs as the Unit manager to maintain smooth daily operations
  • Monitor student progress and offer support to help them reach their goals in the program
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with universities and colleges to access talent and develop joint programs
  • Participate in initiatives that align with the Knowledge Economy (LEC) regime under National Law N°27.570
Requirements
  • At least two years of experience in talent development or a related discipline
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships, fostering trust, and supporting local leadership
  • Excellent organizational abilities for handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience collaborating with universities and educational institutions to negotiate agreements and coordinate internships or entry-level programs
  • Clear communication skills for working with students, interns, technical leaders, and executives
  • Empathy and leadership to motivate, mentor, and guide young professionals through onboarding
  • Results-focused approach with the ability to assess training and internship program effectiveness using KPIs such as employability, retention, and satisfaction
  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Training & Development, Human Resources, or a related discipline
  • Experience leading educational programs for IT professionals
  • Established connections with local IT education programs and colleges
  • Background in software development as an engineer or manager
  • Experience in IT education as a trainer or in HR/TA roles within IT companies
  • Preference for candidates located in Buenos Aires or Cordoba
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model, with regular office attendance each week
