Talent Development Specialist

We are looking for a Talent Development Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you will drive educational initiatives, support recruitment efforts, and foster the growth of emerging talent within the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate a multi-stage recruitment process that includes external training, pre-production, and integration into the production pool
  • Implement best practices from the Global EPAM Campus within Argentina
  • Work closely with Recruiting and Marketing departments to manage the flow of applicants
  • Build and oversee a local team of administrators, trainers, and mentors
  • Act as Unit manager for student education labs, ensuring smooth operation
  • Monitor student progress and support their success throughout the program
  • Partner with local universities and colleges to access talent pools and develop joint programs
  • Support initiatives aligned with the Knowledge Economy (LEC) regime under National Law N°27.570
Requirements
  • At least two years of relevant experience in talent development or a related field
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships, establishing trust, and supporting local leadership in Argentina
  • Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience negotiating agreements and coordinating internships or entry-level programs with universities and educational institutions
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with students, interns, technical leaders, and executives
  • Empathy and leadership abilities to motivate, guide, and support young professionals during their integration
  • Results-driven approach with the ability to measure training impact and internship program effectiveness using KPIs such as employability rate, retention rate, and satisfaction
  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Training & Development, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Experience leading educational programs for IT professionals
  • Established connections with local IT education programs and colleges
  • Background in software development as an engineer or manager
  • Experience in IT education as a trainer or in HR/TA roles within IT companies
  • Residence in Buenos Aires or Cordoba is preferred
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid mode, attending the office several times per week
