Talent Development Specialist

We are seeking a Talent Development Specialist to join our team.

This position focuses on advancing educational programs, enhancing recruitment processes, and nurturing the growth of new talent within the company.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a comprehensive recruitment pipeline that spans external training, pre-production, and transition into the production pool
  • Adapt and apply proven strategies from the Global EPAM Campus to the local context in Argentina
  • Collaborate with Recruiting and Marketing teams to streamline applicant management
  • Recruit, lead, and support a local group of administrators, trainers, and mentors
  • Oversee student education labs as the Unit manager, ensuring effective operations
  • Track student achievements and provide guidance to help them succeed in the program
  • Establish partnerships with universities and colleges to tap into talent pools and launch joint initiatives
  • Contribute to projects that follow the Knowledge Economy (LEC) framework under National Law N°27.570
Requirements
  • Minimum two years of experience in talent development or a related discipline
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for relationship building, trust development, and supporting local leadership
  • Strong organizational abilities for handling multiple responsibilities and meeting deadlines
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working with universities and educational institutions to negotiate agreements and coordinate internships or entry-level programs
  • Clear communication skills for engaging with students, interns, technical experts, and executives
  • Empathy and leadership qualities to inspire, mentor, and assist young talent during onboarding
  • Results-oriented mindset with the capability to assess training and internship program outcomes using KPIs such as employability, retention, and satisfaction rates
  • Proficient English skills, both written and spoken, at B2 level or above
Nice to have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Training & Development, Human Resources, or a similar area
  • Experience managing educational programs for IT professionals
  • Existing relationships with local IT education providers and colleges
  • Previous work in software development as an engineer or manager
  • Background in IT education as a trainer or in HR/TA roles within IT organizations
  • Preference for candidates based in Buenos Aires or Cordoba
  • Openness to a hybrid work arrangement, with occasional office attendance each week
