We are seeking a dynamic Solution Architect I to join the EPAM AI SDLC Center of Excellence and tackle opportunities in Application Modernization utilizing Generative AI.
The selected candidate will play an instrumental role in advancing the AI Modernization initiative, which serves as the entry point for leveraging GenAI for portfolio analysis, application modernization, code conversion, technical debt reduction, and technology upgrades.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design solutions across various architectural models including legacy monolith applications, cloud-based solutions, microservices, and serverless architectures
- Enhance data conceptions and implement UI frameworks
- Handle multiple projects concurrently, ensuring the effective integration of various teams and stakeholders
- Utilize Generative AI tools, approaches, and frameworks to drive the application modernization process
- Stay abreast of AI software engineering trends and solutions, monitoring new market developments
- Communicate effectively within a global team context, maintaining a high standard of English proficiency
- Embody an entrepreneurial and integrative mindset to quickly adapt to new challenges and changes
- Engage deeply with EPAM’s tools and frameworks to maximize understanding and application of available resources
- Solve complex problems strategically and creatively
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in solution/software architecture, specifically with legacy monolith applications, cloud-based solutions, microservices, and serverless architectures
- Background in data concepts and skills in UI frameworks
- Capable of managing multiple projects and integrating various teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency in Generative AI tools, approaches, and frameworks with a focus on application modernization
- Passion for modern AI trends and solutions
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Entrepreneurial and integrative mindset, adaptable to changing environments and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities with strategic and creative thinking skills
- Willingness to immerse into EPAM’s suite of tools and frameworks
