Solution Architect I

We are seeking a Solution Architect I to enhance our remote team. This role is instrumental in designing and executing innovative technology solutions that align with strategic business goals. Ideal candidates will possess a strong technical background and a proven ability to translate complex requirements into functional architecture. Working as a Solution Architect I, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and deliver scalable, sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

Analyze current technologies used within the company and determine ways to improve
Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates
Work closely with Information Technology professionals within the company to ensure hardware is available for projects and working properly
Propose and establish the framework for necessary contributions from various departments
Account for possible project challenges or constraints and proactively seek to manage them
Ensure software security by developing programs to actively monitor the sharing of private information
Oversee the development of the product from start to finish
Draft time schedules for project completion that effectively allocate resources
Act as a liaison between the company’s clients and departments
Assist in the development of IT standards and guidelines

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of IT experience with a strong focus on software engineering
At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role, managing a team of 5 or more in a managerial or equivalent capacity
Experience participating in at least 2 full cycle projects or various projects covering different phases of the software development lifecycle
Proficiency with Microsoft Azure for designing and implementing solutions
Familiarity with Microservice Architecture Pattern to design scalable and independent application components
Experience with MongoDB for database management and deployment
Comprehensive understanding of the full product development lifecycle
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed and multicultural environment
Strong problem-solving abilities to address technical and project-related challenges
Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills, at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher

Nice to have

Relevant certifications in technology architecture or project management
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
Experience with cloud services integration and management
