We are seeking a Solution Architect with knowledge of Sybase.

Responsibilities
- Analyze, document, and evaluate existing database architecture and infrastructure
- Propose optimal technical strategies and best practices for upgrading legacy database systems
- Oversee tasks related to upgrades, re-architecture processes, schema design, data modeling, and infrastructure management
- Ensure successful execution of data migration and real-time replication activities
- Coordinate collaboratively with team members to refine database design directives
- Perform testing and optimization to secure database performance and efficiency
- Identify root causes and resolve database performance bottlenecks
Requirements
- 6+ years in software design and development
- 5+ years as a hands-on Sybase production Database Administrator
- 2+ years in relevant leadership roles
- Expertise in database architecture and configuration
- Understanding of general database design and development principles
- Background in working with very large databases and/or data warehousing
- Proficient English (written and spoken) at B2 level
Nice to have
- Background in cloud technologies, such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
