Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and develop ServiceNow modules across ITAM, APM, CMDB, and ITSM
- Build and maintain workflows, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and integrations using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub
- Ensure technical solutions meet business needs, scalability standards, and security/compliance requirements
- Develop and maintain an accurate and complete CMDB with reliable CI relationships and dependencies
- Implement discovery, data normalization, and reconciliation processes
- Configure and manage ITAM processes to optimize asset utilization, compliance, and lifecycle visibility
- Enable APM capabilities to map applications to business capabilities and manage technology lifecycles
- Support and enhance ITSM processes to improve operational efficiency and user experience
- Implement automation and self-service capabilities to reduce manual workload
- Integrate ITSM with ITAM, APM, and CMDB data for end-to-end visibility
- Maintain ServiceNow technical documentation including solution designs, standards, and SOPs
- Participate in platform roadmap planning, upgrades, and release management
- Identify opportunities for innovation, automation, and performance improvement
- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and administrators
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience
- Proven expertise in at least three areas: ITAM, APM, CMDB, ITSM
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, data model, and scripting with JavaScript and Glide API
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and integrations using REST, SOAP, and APIs
- Understanding of ITIL and IT Asset/Service Management best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives
- Passion for platform governance, data quality, and continuous improvement
- Team-oriented mindset with focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing
- English proficiency level B2 or higher
Nice to have
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Implementation Specialist certifications such as CIS – ITAM, CIS – APM, CIS – CMDB, CIS – ITSM
- Experience with ServiceNow HAM and SAM modules
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Flow Designer and IntegrationHub
- Knowledge of data modeling, CMDB governance frameworks, and business capability mapping
