We are looking for a seasoned Senior UX Designer to lead the design of user-friendly interfaces for our internal tools and solutions.
In this role, the selected candidate will spearhead the creation of seamless and engaging UI/UX designs, focusing on improving user interactions across multiple applications.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the UI/UX design process for internal tools and Google Cloud-based solutions
- Partner with product teams to capture requirements and incorporate user feedback for design improvements
- Develop and prototype user interfaces that enhance accessibility and overall usability
- Offer ongoing design support, including modifications for events like Sales Kickoff and Google Cloud Next 2025
- Validate design specifications and implement updates to optimize user experiences
- Maintain detailed design documentation and style guidelines
- Address ad-hoc design requests and assist in refining applications for demo videos
- Lead usability testing and iterate on interface elements based on user insights
- Mentor junior designers, sharing best practices in UX design
- Stay informed on current design trends, tools, and technologies to elevate product quality continually
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in UX/UI design
- Proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch
- Background in designing for web and mobile interfaces
- Strong portfolio highlighting interaction and visual design expertise
- Familiarity with technical limitations and design guidelines
- Collaborative approach in fast-paced, team-focused settings
- Excellent communication skills to convey design ideas effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline
