We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Tester to manage the automation testing efforts for our microservice-based system remotely. As a Senior Automation Tester, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and user needs, create and execute automated test scripts for web-based applications, and design and implement end-to-end testing scenarios to ensure software functionality. You will also analyze test results and identify errors, bugs, and usability issues, providing valuable insights to the development team. Responsibilities

Lead and manage the automation testing efforts for our microservice-based system
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and user needs
Create and execute automated test scripts for web-based applications using WebdriverIO and Cypress
Design and implement end-to-end testing scenarios to ensure software functionality
Analyze test results and identify errors, bugs, and usability issues, providing valuable insights to the development team
Prepare detailed reports covering all aspects of software testing, including identified issues and testing outcomes
Contribute to the development of new automation testing frameworks and tools
Mentor and train junior Automation Testers, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Automation Testing, demonstrating expertise in creating and executing automated test scripts for web-based applications
In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and automated testing frameworks such as Cypress and Mocha
Practical experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including the ability to create and configure test environments
Strong focus on teamwork and exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently and manage stress effectively, maintaining a high level of performance even under pressure
Excellent communication skills and strong critical thinking capabilities to effectively convey feedback and insights
Good organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset, crucial for meticulous testing efforts
Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher, enabling effective communication
