We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Tester to join our team remotely, working on cutting-edge software solutions. As a Senior Automation Tester, you will be responsible for performing thorough testing of the backend part of applications, communicating clearly and frequently with all team members, product owners, and technical SMEs impacted by test and troubleshooting results. You will actively participate in daily standups and sprint planning, emphasizing optimizing testing cycles/resources with development teams to deliver shippable features. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough testing of the backend part of applications, ensuring high-quality software solutions
- Communicate clearly and frequently with all team members, product owners, and technical SMEs impacted by test and troubleshooting results
- Actively participate in daily standups and sprint planning, emphasizing optimizing testing cycles/resources with development teams to deliver shippable features
- Create bug reports and quality status reports, providing regular, detailed status reports on project progress, including test cases executed, bugs discovered, and bugs fixed
- Create test cases and use tracking tools to file, monitor, and resolve issues
- Be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
- Work closely with developers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented
- Provide task estimations and work on agile projects
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Automated Testing, with a strong understanding of testing fundamentals and methodologies
- Expertise in Amazon Web Services, including experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda
- Proficiency in Cypress and JavaScript, with hands-on experience in developing test cases and test automation frameworks
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
- Experience in creating bug reports and quality status reports, providing regular, detailed status reports on project progress, including test cases executed, bugs discovered, and bugs fixed
- Ability to create test cases and use tracking tools to file, monitor, and resolve issues
- Strong focus on quality and a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
- Ability to work closely with developers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented
- Experience in providing task estimations and working on agile projects
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
