We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester to join our remote team, working with a leading global technology company. As a Senior Automation Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions through the development and execution of automated test scripts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing efforts, contributing to the enhancement of our products and services. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript and testing frameworks such as Mocha and Protractor
Execute automated tests and report results to the development team, identifying and prioritizing issues for resolution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and prioritize testing efforts
Contribute to the development of test plans and test cases, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage
Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on testability and potential issues
Provide input on testing processes and methodologies, contributing to the enhancement of testing practices
Manage test cases and track testing progress using tools such as JIRA

Requirements

Strong experience of 3+years in Automation Testing, with a focus on JavaScript and testing fundamentals
Expertise in core JavaScript, enabling you to develop and maintain automated test scripts
Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, and Protractor, allowing you to execute automated tests and report results
Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and experience with testing AWS services, demonstrating your ability to work with complex cloud-based environments
Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, enabling you to manage test cases and track testing progress
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher, enabling effective communication with customers and team members

Nice to have

Experience with BDD (Gherkin) and testing frameworks such as Axios and Supertest
