We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer in JS to join our remote team, working on UI applications supporting processes. As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will support a development team of JavaScript-only developers and help create automation tests. In more complicated scenarios, you may be asked to do some manual verification. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review software requirements, execute tests, and analyze results, ensuring our products meet high standards of functionality and usability
- Identify, document, and track software defects, providing valuable insights to the development team
- Contribute to the preparation of UI automated test cases using tools like TestIM, Cypress, or other preferred UI automation frameworks
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, ensuring high-quality testing efforts
- Participate in design reviews, offering input on requirements, product design, and potential challenges
- Keep up to date with the latest technologies and methodologies in software testing, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Test Automation, demonstrating expertise in JavaScript and ReactJS
- Experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- In-depth knowledge of Functional Testing, including test design and methodologies, including exploratory testing
- Practical experience in test case documentation, utilizing tools like TestRails to ensure organized and structured testing efforts
- Proficiency in using Chrome Console Tools to identify and diagnose issues
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools for larger applications, showcasing your ability to automate repetitive testing tasks
- Excellent communication skills and strong critical thinking capabilities to effectively convey feedback and insights
- Good organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset, crucial for meticulous testing efforts
- Fluent spoken and written English at a B2 level or higher, enabling effective communication
