Responsibilities
- Oversee and contribute to the maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of legacy tax tool applications
- Analyze complex system issues and errors in C and C++ to determine effective solutions
- Optimize the existing codebase to enhance performance and scalability with minimal disruption to operations
- Design, develop, and implement new features based on business requirements while adhering to best practices
- Document all technical procedures and changes for compliance and training purposes
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance to help develop their technical skills
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in software development with a strong emphasis on C and C++
- Familiarity with .NET technologies
- Demonstrated ability to manage and improve legacy systems
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Comprehensive understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Proficiency in English
