We are looking for a Senior Automation Tester to join our remote team, working with a leading provider of cloud-based software solutions for the Hi-Tech industry. As a Senior Automation Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and business analysts, to design and execute automated test cases, analyze results, and identify and report issues. Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute automated test cases
Analyze test results and identify and report issues, working closely with developers to resolve them
Validate data quality and perform data reconciliation using SQL and Linux CLI
Create end-to-end test suites and test cases for data quality validation
Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential challenges
Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks and tools
Ensure adherence to QA best practices and standards

Requirements

Solid experience of 3+ years in automated testing using JavaScript and related frameworks such as Cypress and Mocha
Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and Amazon Web Services, enabling you to design and execute automated tests in a distributed data processing environment
Solid understanding of SQL and Linux CLI, allowing you to validate data quality and perform data reconciliation
Good understanding of SDLC and the role of QA in it, enabling you to set proper expectations for the development team in terms of quality gates
Ability to create end-to-end test suites and test cases for data quality validation
Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail, enabling you to effectively convey feedback and insights to cross-functional teams
Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher

Nice to have

Experience in testing MS SQL and Amazon RDS databases
Knowledge of performance testing methodologies and tools
