We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP HANA Developer to join our team at a global leader in semiconductor manufacturing and high-tech innovation.
In this role, you will design and optimize advanced data models, pipelines, and backend solutions to support complex business processes across manufacturing, engineering, and operations. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize native SAP HANA models, including Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, and SQLScript, to support backend data processing and aggregation
- Build and maintain efficient ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from SAP and non-SAP systems, such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and third-party sources
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable data flows and data architectures for analytics and operational reporting
- Develop end-to-end data workflows, ensuring high data quality and resolving discrepancies through monitoring and troubleshooting processes
- Enhance business processes with custom analytics, KPI tracking, and actionable insights powered by SAP HANA backend solutions
- Optimize data processing performance for large datasets and complex workflows using SAP HANA in-memory database capabilities
- Work collaboratively with engineers, business analysts, and solution architects to gather requirements and deliver tailored, high-quality solutions
- Actively participate in Agile workflows, including sprints, planning, and retrospectives, while delivering incremental value to stakeholders
- Document and maintain technical best practices, processes, and knowledge to ensure team alignment and efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with the SAP HANA platform
- Practical knowledge and experience with SAP HANA Cloud or SAP BW for HANA
- Collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively within cross-functional teams
- Analytical thinker with the ability to conduct thorough analyses based on business input
- Completed SAP HANA training, such as HA300
- Familiarity with Scrum or Agile methodologies and workflows
- Willingness to travel to Eindhoven during onboarding and once per Program Increment (PI) thereafter
- Fluent English proficiency, both written and spoken, at a B2+ level or higher
