We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP Consultant (Retail Sourcing) to drive the transition and modernization of the SAP landscape for a global retail organization. In this strategic role, you will oversee the SAP Retail Sourcing stream, ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary knowledge holder for the SAP Retail Sourcing stream post-transition
- Facilitate a seamless, zero-downtime transition for SAP Retail Sourcing functionalities, including SAP Rebate WCOCO and various rebate types (vendor allowances, VFP, fixed amount, scale rebates)
- Participate in intensive knowledge transfer sessions focused on business processes, configurations, and custom code
- Perform hands-on validations in lower environments to confirm knowledge and system functionality
- Lead and guide your team through shadowing and reverse shadowing phases
- Review, update, and refine all operational documentation, including SOPs and runbooks
- Handle escalations and resolve complex incidents specific to the SAP Retail Sourcing stream
- Collaborate with P2P, Finance, Logistics, and MDM stream leads to address integration points and dependencies effectively
- Build a self-reliant team capable of managing long-term operations for the SAP Retail Sourcing stream
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure formal stream sign-off and adherence to service levels
- Represent the SAP Retail Sourcing stream as the go-to expert for technical and functional insights
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in SAP Logistics, with a focus on SAP Retail Sourcing
- Expertise in SAP Retail rebate management functionalities, including WCOCO and various rebate types (vendor allowances, VFP, fixed/scale rebates)
- Understanding of SAP integration architecture, including touchpoints with P2P, Finance, Logistics, or MDM systems
- Competency in managing transition phases, including knowledge absorption, shadowing, and stream leadership
- Showcase of skills in maintaining and updating support materials such as SOPs and runbooks
- Background in resolving critical incidents and handling escalations in SAP environments
- English level of minimum B2 (Upper-Intermediate) for effective communication
Nice to have
- Proficiency in SAP Retail Purchasing or SAP Retail Sales functionalities
- Capability to navigate SAP Industry Solutions/Retail (SAP-IS: Retail) within SAP ERP landscapes
- Flexibility to use advanced retail-specific customizations in SAP
