We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Consultant specializing in Forecasting and Replenishment to support the transition and modernization of SAP solutions for a global retail project. This role integrates extensive domain expertise, innovation-driven approaches, and sustained support of SAP Forecasting and Replenishment practices within a collaborative and fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Engage in knowledge transfer (KT) sessions to gain in-depth understanding of business processes, configurations, and custom code for SAP Forecasting and Replenishment solutions
- Perform validation exercises in lower environments to verify knowledge retention and solution readiness
- Provide ongoing support and foster continuous improvement post-project to advance SAP Forecasting and Replenishment processes in alignment with dynamic business goals
- Maintain critical support documents, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks, to ensure accurate records
- Resolve complex issues and manage escalated incidents associated with forecasting and replenishment workflows
- Deliver shadowing and reverse shadowing activities for seamless knowledge handover
- Collaborate across teams to pinpoint and implement system enhancements and optimizations
- Ensure an uninterrupted transition of SAP Forecasting and Replenishment operations across sales forecasting, order forecasting, store ordering, and distribution center (DC) ordering
Requirements
- 3+ years in SAP consulting roles, with specific focus on Forecasting and Replenishment processes
- Expertise in SAP Retail and SAP-SCM modules dedicated to Forecasting and Replenishment
- Knowledge of SAP SCM-based systems, such as SAP F&R
- Background in SAP Retail, encompassing purchasing and sales workflows
- Proficiency in analyzing intricate configurations, business logic, and custom code within SAP Forecasting and Replenishment solutions
- Skills in managing escalations and resolving high-impact incidents using SAP methodologies
- Capability to deliver effective communication with stakeholders and translate technical insights into actionable strategies
- Qualifications in both written and spoken English communication at a B2 level or above
Nice to have
- Familiarity with SAP Retail Purchasing and SAP Retail Sales workflows
- Understanding of SAP-IS Retail configurations and solutions
- Competency in leveraging complementary SAP solutions for innovation purposes
