We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Consultant specializing in Forecasting and Replenishment to assist in transitioning and modernizing SAP solutions for a global retail project. This role emphasizes extensive domain expertise, consistent innovation, and ongoing support for SAP Forecasting and Replenishment processes in a dynamic and collaborative setting.
Responsibilities
- Participate in knowledge transfer (KT) sessions to thoroughly understand business processes, configurations, and custom code for SAP Forecasting and Replenishment solutions
- Perform validation exercises in lower environments to confirm knowledge retention and solution readiness
- Transition into support and continuous improvement post-project to align SAP Forecasting and Replenishment processes with changing business needs
- Maintain critical support documentation such as standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks
- Address escalated incidents and tackle complex challenges within Forecasting and Replenishment processes
- Carry out shadowing and reverse shadowing activities for effective knowledge transition
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pinpoint and implement system improvements
- Ensure a smooth, zero-downtime transition of SAP Forecasting and Replenishment processes, encompassing sales forecasting, order forecasting, store ordering, and distribution center (DC) ordering
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in SAP consulting, focusing on Forecasting and Replenishment processes
- Expertise in SAP Retail and SAP-SCM modules, specializing in Forecasting and Replenishment
- Knowledge of SAP SCM-based systems, including SAP F&R
- Background in SAP Retail, addressing purchasing and sales processes
- Proficiency in examining complex configurations, business logic, and custom code within SAP Forecasting and Replenishment solutions
- Competency to address escalations and handle critical incidents through SAP methodologies
- Capability to interpret technical documentation and convey meaningful business insights to stakeholders
- Qualifications in both written and spoken English communication (B2 level or higher)
Nice to have
- Understanding of SAP Retail Purchasing and SAP Retail Sales processes
- Familiarity with SAP-IS Retail solutions
- Showcase of leveraging complementary SAP solutions for driving innovation
