We are looking for a Senior SAP CAP Developer skilled in Java backend development to join our innovative team. Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to collect and assess business requirements
- Convert business demands into detailed technical designs and plans
- Build scalable backend applications and services
- Conduct code reviews to maintain high code standards and best practices
- Diagnose and fix technical problems efficiently
- Enhance application performance through tuning and optimization
- Create and update comprehensive technical documentation
- Coordinate closely with colleagues to ensure project success
Requirements
- Solid software development experience of 3 years or more
- Proficient Java backend developer for enterprise applications
- Practical knowledge of SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) framework
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Good understanding of Spring Boot for microservices and backend development
- Demonstrated ability to implement REST APIs
- Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design principles
- Capability to lead technical projects and set an example
- Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins for CI/CD automation
- Practical skills in modern engineering practices including code reviews, source control, testing, and release management
- Knowledge of agile practices such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and delivery
- Strong English communication skills at B2 or above
Nice to have
- Knowledge of SAP cloud products and services for integration
- Experience with SAPUI5 for UI development
- Exposure to SAP HANA Cloud Database for data handling
