Responsibilities
- Design applications using ABAP with emphasis on object-oriented programming and the RESTful ABAP programming model (RAP)
- Develop Core Data Services (CDS) Views and build OData services for smooth Fiori integration
- Execute system enhancements following Clean ABAP coding guidelines
- Work closely with cross-departmental teams to gather and convert client requirements into technical designs
- Maintain and debug existing ABAP programs and SAP S/4HANA components
- Leverage ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse for effective development and troubleshooting
- Conduct code reviews to uphold quality and adherence to best practices
- Document development workflows and update technical documentation
- Assist with deployment and testing to ensure flawless application delivery
- Offer expert technical advice and support throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Extensive experience in SAP ABAP development and S/4HANA environments
- Consultant-level expertise (E2) with 3-5 years of relevant SAP experience
- Proficient in RAP, CDS, and OData service creation
- Hands-on experience with ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse
- Solid understanding of Clean ABAP principles and object-oriented programming
- Effective team collaboration and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and quality
- Upper-Intermediate English skills (B2) for collaborating with international teams and handling documentation
Nice to have
- Knowledge of SAP BTP ABAP Cloud platform
- Experience with artificial intelligence (AI) integration in SAP environments
