We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Tester to join our remote team, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions through automated testing in JS. With over 5 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer, you will bring a wealth of knowledge in test methodologies and software release cycles to our team. In this role, you will work in a microservice environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to test and validate software products. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review software requirements and develop comprehensive test plans
- Develop automated test scripts using JS and Cypress to validate software functionality and performance
- Execute automated tests and analyze results, identifying errors and bugs to provide valuable feedback to the development team
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations for improvement
- Ensure high-quality testing efforts by maintaining test environments and monitoring test results
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of testing frameworks and tools
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
Requirements
- A strong experience of 5 years as a Test Automation Engineer, demonstrating your expertise in test methodologies and software release cycles
- At least 1 year of experience working with JS, showcasing your proficiency in automated testing
- Experience testing in a microservice environment, highlighting your ability to work in complex software systems
- Expertise in web test automation, utilizing tools like Cypress and Protractor to ensure high-quality testing efforts
- Strong theoretical knowledge in e2e contract-based user testing, demonstrating your understanding of testing at the user level
- Experience with version control tools like Git, allowing you to manage code changes effectively
- Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services, enabling you to work with cloud-based testing environments
- Familiarity with REST Assured, showcasing your knowledge of API testing
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
