Senior Python SDK Developer
We are looking for a Senior Python SDK Developer to enhance our data engineering capabilities.
This role involves developing, refining, and optimizing our suite of software tools, libraries, and pipelines using Python. The ideal candidate should have a robust background in data engineering and a track record of success in developing and testing Python libraries.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Apache Airflow to architect and manage workflows, boosting the efficiency of data engineering tasks
- Spearhead the creation of a Python SDK tailored to improve data engineering activities
- Regularly update and improve RESTful APIs
- Perform extensive unit and integration testing for Java and Python applications and SDKs
- Refactor Python and Java applications to meet coding standards
- Manage database interactions to ensure data integrity and efficiency
- Administer CI/CD pipelines for seamless testing, building, and deployment processes
- Work collaboratively with team members to enhance overall team productivity
- Ensure applications conform to security best practices and compliance protocols
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- 3+ years of experience in software design, development, and testing
- Proficiency in Python
- Background in developing data pipelines
- Skills in writing strong unit and integration tests
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
- Commitment to staying updated with emerging technology trends
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
