Senior Python Developer

We are searching for an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our leading-edge technology team, which focuses on developing language model-driven experiences using effective client code for high-volume production situations.

The ideal candidate will engage in architecture discussions, adopt the newest language model services, and advance AI model interactions via API.

Responsibilities

Develop LLM-driven experiences that delight our customers
Engineer Python API server code to handle requests efficiently
Create innovative LLM client code for high-volume production scenarios
Implement cutting-edge LLM models and services
Enhance the effectiveness of prompt engineers and other SMEs by crafting intuitive prompting frameworks
Construct SQL queries and occasionally design schema
Engage in and enhance architecture discussions across different teams

Requirements

At least 3 years of software engineering experience on an engineering/product team, with a preference for startup background
Proficiency in Python, HTTP API, and SQL
Background in utilizing large language models through code from OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, Llama, or Mistral
Involvement with stages in the ML development lifecycle such as data labeling, curation, cleaning, and model serving
Demonstrates strong software engineering judgment and decision-making skills
Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

Nice to have

Expertise in evaluating models and prompting for LLM
Understanding of schema design
Ability to work well in collaborative environments and manage projects independently
