Senior Python Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our innovative technology team, who will be tasked with orchestrating language model-driven experiences using efficient client code designed for high-volume production environments.

The ideal candidate will participate in architectural discussions, leverage the latest language model services, and improve interactions with AI models through API.

Responsibilities

Orchestrate LLM-driven experiences to delight our customers
Write efficient Python API server code to handle requests
Create innovative LLM client code for high-volume production environments
Implement cutting-edge LLM models and services
Enhance the capabilities of prompt engineers and other SMEs by creating intuitive prompting frameworks
Write SQL queries and occasionally design schema
Engage in and contribute to architectural discussions across various teams

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience with an engineering/product team; startup experience preferred
Proficiency in Python, HTTP API, and SQL
Background in utilizing large language models through code from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, Llama or Mistral
Knowledge of stages in the ML development lifecycle, including data labeling, curation, cleaning, and model serving
Demonstrates strong software engineering judgment and decision-making skills
Fluent in English with communication skills at B2+ level

Mastery in evaluating models and prompting LLMs
Understanding of schema design
Ability to work well in collaborative environments and manage individual projects effectively
