Senior Python Developer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Python Developer to join our cutting-edge technology team tasked with orchestrating language model-driven experiences through efficient client code suitable for high-volume production environments.

The ideal candidate will contribute to architecture discussions, leverage the latest language model services, and enhance the interaction with AI models through API.

Responsibilities
  • Orchestrate LLM-driven experiences that delight our customers
  • Write Python API server code that efficiently handles requests
  • Develop innovative LLM client code for high-volume production environments
  • Utilize cutting-edge LLM models and services
  • Empower prompt engineers and other SMEs by developing intuitive prompting frameworks
  • Write SQL queries and occasionally design schema
  • Participate in and contribute to architecture discussions across various teams
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software engineering on an engineering/product team, startup experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Python, HTTP API, and SQL
  • Background in using large language models through code from OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, Llama, or Mistral
  • Experience with stages in the ML development lifecycle including data labeling, curation, cleaning, and model serving
  • Showcases strong software engineering judgment and decision-making skills
  • Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Expertise in model evaluation and LLM prompting
  • Familiarity with schema design
  • Competency in collaborative environments and independent project management
