Senior Python Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our forward-thinking technology team, focused on developing language model-driven experiences through optimized client code designed for high-volume production settings.

The ideal candidate will take part in architecture discussions, utilize the latest language model services, and improve AI model interactions through API.

Responsibilities
  • Develop LLM-driven experiences that impress our customers
  • Create Python API server code that efficiently processes requests
  • Build innovative LLM client code for high-volume production settings
  • Apply cutting-edge LLM models and services
  • Support prompt engineers and other SMEs by creating intuitive prompting frameworks
  • Write SQL queries and occasionally design schemas
  • Engage in and add value to architecture discussions across various teams
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years working in software engineering within an engineering/product team, startup experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Python, HTTP API, and SQL
  • Background in handling large language models through code from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, Llama, or Mistral
  • Involvement with stages in the ML development lifecycle including data labeling, curation, cleaning, and model serving
  • Demonstrates strong software engineering judgment and decision-making skills
  • Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Qualifications in model evaluation and LLM prompting
  • Understanding of schema design
  • Skills in collaborative environments and managing independent projects
