We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to join our team and take a leading role in building innovative and high-performance software solutions that promote efficiency and drive progress.
In this position, you will focus on designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate possesses extensive Python development experience and is dedicated to delivering reliable and high-quality products in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain web applications and systems that are database-driven, with an emphasis on performance and reliability
- Develop and implement RESTful APIs and work with JSON to ensure seamless data flow across integrated systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust application architectures and solutions
- Manage the deployment of applications in production environments with a focus on scalability and system dependability
- Enhance database scalability and performance with a strong emphasis on PostgreSQL optimization
- Utilize technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and GIT for containerization, orchestration, and version control
- Use object-oriented programming principles to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Identify and resolve software issues to ensure stability and consistent performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Python Developer
- Proven experience in building web applications and designing high-performance systems
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, with a focus on PostgreSQL
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON to enable seamless system integration
- Hands-on experience deploying applications in production environments with scalability and reliability in mind
- Proficiency in using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and GIT for development workflows and deployment processes
- Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented programming principles and application design methodologies
- Advanced SQL expertise, particularly with PostgreSQL
- Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written, at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI 3.0 for API documentation
- Knowledge of continuous integration, Agile practices, TDD, and testing methodologies
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React/Redux for front-end development
- Basic knowledge of UX design principles
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
