We are looking for a remote Senior Python Developer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex data pipelines and ensuring high-quality performance through test-driven development. You should possess the experience in cloud services and SQL.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to design and develop data pipelines, ensuring high-quality performance through test-driven development
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify and understand requirements, and to develop and implement solutions that meet their needs
- Participate in code review sessions with mentors and the team to foster collaborative and efficient coding practices
- Ensure the scalability, resilience, and reliability of our data platform, and contribute to enhancing its performance
- Monitor and troubleshoot data processing solutions, addressing specific issues as they arise
- Assist in operationalizing machine learning models and building applications to harness the power of machine learning
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of experience as a Python Developer, with demonstrated experience in cloud services and SQL
- Strong coding skills in Python, with experience in test-driven development and writing unit test cases using mock frameworks
- Good understanding of data engineering, data processing frameworks (Apache Spark and Apache Hive), and database systems (Amazon DynamoDB)
- Experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow, and data modeling
- Understanding and practical experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, and RDS
- Excellent knowledge of data structures and algorithms, with the ability to develop complex data pipelines
- Demonstrated proficiency in system design, SQL, and Flask
- Good spoken and written English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
