Responsibilities
- Design software solutions of the highest quality using Python on Amazon Web Services
- Ensure applications achieve optimal performance and scalability
- Follow consistent principles and best practices in data pipeline design
- Optimize database operations and data pipelines through analysis
- Collaborate with team members within an Agile framework
- Perform code reviews to uphold quality standards and functionality
- Engage stakeholders to collect requirements and feedback
- Document software designs, processes, and technical specifications
- Resolve software defects and address performance bottlenecks
- Promote continuous improvement within the team
Requirements
- 3+ years of direct experience as a Python Developer
- Advanced background in Amazon Web Services
- Competency in SQL and database management
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices
- Understanding of Snowflake and Microsoft Power BI
- Knowledge of ReactJS is a plus
- Proven ability to thrive in a remote Agile team environment
- Background in finance, trading, or asset management is a plus
- English proficiency level of B2
