We are seeking a Senior Power BI Model Developer to optimize and restructure a high-priority composite Power BI model that integrates data from multiple sources, including SharePoint. You will work closely with ABI modelers and business experts to enhance model architecture, improve query performance, and reduce resource strain.

Responsibilities
- Assess existing composite model architecture and identify performance bottlenecks
- Redesign and restructure data models to eliminate unnecessary dependencies
- Optimize DAX expressions and implement query folding strategies to improve refresh times
- Collaborate with ABI modelers to ensure compliance with enterprise data standards
- Engage with business subject matter experts to align models with reporting requirements
- Monitor and tune data warehouse performance to reduce compute costs
- Develop and document best practices for model design and optimization
- Support troubleshooting and resolve data refresh and performance issues
- Provide guidance and recommendations for future model enhancements
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Power BI features and analytics trends
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Power BI with 3+ years of experience in data modeling and visualization
- Proficient skills in DAX for complex calculations and performance optimization
- Strong experience with data warehousing concepts and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to restructure composite models and optimize query performance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a project-driven environment
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders
- Experience engaging with subject matter experts to translate reporting needs into data solutions
- Strong English proficiency (B2 level or higher) for effective communication and documentation
