We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic Infrastructure Operations team, partnering with a leading client in the gaming industry. In this role, you will contribute to building and maintaining the automation platform that manages a globally distributed fleet of game servers, ensuring players worldwide experience top-notch performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate the client’s CI/CD and cloud infrastructure platform
- Define, collect, and report on service quality metrics to enable continuous improvement
- Collaborate across teams to optimize reliability, performance, latency, and efficiency of cloud services
- Provide input into product roadmap decisions, including key deliverables and milestone schedules
- Automate workflows for infrastructure provisioning and application deployment
- Troubleshoot network and systems issues in production environments
- Monitor systems using tools like Grafana, ensuring reliability and operational excellence
- Contribute to infrastructure scaling and high availability design
- Assist with distributed systems planning and implementation to optimize performance
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to implement innovation
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or a related role
- Experience with cloud infrastructure automation using public cloud APIs, preferably AWS
- Proficiency in building and operating online services in production environments
- Strong Linux fundamentals paired with systems automation expertise
- Hands-on experience with Terraform (IaC), Ansible (configuration management), and Kubernetes
- Competency in monitoring platforms like Grafana and continuous integration/delivery tools
- Background in troubleshooting distributed systems communication models and network protocols such as TCP/IP
- Skills in Python and GitHub for development and collaboration
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting and production monitoring setups
- English language proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
Nice to have
- Showcase of software development fundamentals in Python, GoLang, or C#
- Qualifications in Perforce administration (P4)
- Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration technologies like Jenkins and Kubernetes
- Capability to develop in AWS using Go
