We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Perl Developer to join our team and contribute to building innovative solutions for healthcare professionals.
Our client is a global leader in delivering essential information to medical experts, enabling users to access the latest and most diverse content through intuitive search functionality. The platform gathers data from multiple sources, processes it efficiently, and presents it via a user-friendly interface.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including goal breakdown, estimation, planning, implementation, and production deployment
- Optimize system performance to ensure fast and reliable operation
- Integrate New Relic for advanced monitoring and performance tracking
- Implement Docker to streamline containerization and deployment processes
- Develop and implement new AI-driven features to enhance the platform's capabilities
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Perl Developer
- Proficiency in HTML for structuring web content
- Knowledge of CSS for styling and layout design
- Experience with JavaScript for dynamic and interactive website functionality
- Hands-on experience with AWS, particularly EC2, for cloud-based application deployment and management
- Familiarity with Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or above
Nice to have
- Experience with Angular for building robust front-end applications
- Knowledge of New Relic for monitoring and optimizing system performance
- Familiarity with Docker for containerization and improving deployment workflows
