We are looking for an experienced Senior Performance Tester to join our team.

In this position, you will be responsible for assessing and improving the performance, scalability, and reliability of our systems. You will work closely with multiple teams to identify performance bottlenecks and ensure the delivery of efficient, high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute strategies to assess system scalability and reliability
Design and maintain testing frameworks and scripts to evaluate system performance
Examine performance metrics to identify and address bottlenecks or inefficiencies
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to enhance system performance and resolve issues
Simulate user load scenarios to ensure systems perform effectively under various conditions
Deliver detailed analysis and recommendations on performance improvements to stakeholders
Establish benchmarks and performance standards to guide optimization efforts
Stay informed about emerging tools, techniques, and best practices in performance testing

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in performance and scalability testing
Advanced skills in load generation and analysis with tools like Artillery
Hands-on experience with performance testing for cloud-based microservices
Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and ELK
Familiarity with integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency in automating testing processes, data collection, and reporting
Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Knowledge of programming languages like Go, Scala, or TypeScript
Background in the eCommerce domain and familiarity with its workflows
Experience using additional performance testing tools such as JMeter or Blazemeter
Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture principles
