We are looking for an experienced Senior Performance Tester to join our team.

In this role, you will focus on analyzing and enhancing the performance, scalability, and reliability of our systems. Collaborating with diverse teams, you will identify and address performance challenges, contributing to the delivery of efficient and high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and execute strategies to evaluate and enhance system performance and scalability
Develop and maintain testing frameworks and scripts for performance assessments
Interpret system metrics to uncover bottlenecks and areas for optimization
Work closely with development and DevOps teams to improve system reliability and efficiency
Simulate user load scenarios to validate system behavior under varying conditions
Provide comprehensive performance reports and actionable recommendations to stakeholders
Define benchmarks and standards to drive improvements in system performance
Stay updated on new tools, methodologies, and best practices in performance testing

Requirements

At least 3 years of hands-on experience in performance and scalability testing
Proficiency in load generation and analysis tools such as Artillery
Practical experience with performance testing for microservices in cloud environments
Strong expertise in observability and monitoring tools like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and ELK
Familiarity with integrating performance testing into CI/CD workflows
Advanced skills in automating testing processes, data collection, and reporting
Strong English language skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have

Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure
Knowledge of programming languages such as Go, Scala, or TypeScript
Background in the eCommerce industry and its workflows
Familiarity with additional performance testing tools like JMeter or Blazemeter
Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture frameworks
