We are seeking a Senior Performance Tester to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will play a critical part in evaluating and enhancing the performance, scalability, and reliability of our systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify performance bottlenecks and ensure optimal system functionality, contributing to the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute performance testing strategies to evaluate system scalability and reliability
- Develop and maintain performance test scripts and frameworks to support testing initiatives
- Analyze system performance metrics and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to optimize system performance and resolve bottlenecks
- Simulate and analyze user load scenarios to validate system behavior under stress
- Provide detailed performance reports and recommendations to stakeholders
- Contribute to the creation of performance benchmarks and standards for the organization
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in performance testing
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in scalability and performance testing
- Expertise in load generation and analysis using tools such as Artillery
- Experience in performance testing for cloud-based microservices
- Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and ELK
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and their integration with performance testing workflows
- Strong skills in automation for testing, data collection, and reporting processes
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Familiarity with programming languages like Go, Scala, or TypeScript
- Experience working in the eCommerce domain
- Understanding of other performance testing tools such as JMeter or Blazemeter
- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures
