We are in search of a Senior Payroll Accountant to enhance our Global shared service Payroll accounting team during a period of significant growth. This position plays a key role in overseeing payroll functions for EPAM subsidiaries in LatAm and ensuring precise US GAAP recording of payroll-related activities. We are looking for a candidate who is detail-oriented, skilled, and proactive in improving payroll procedures and increasing the accuracy of financial reports.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee payroll processing for designated EPAM subsidiaries in LatAm, including regular payroll accounting and accruals
  • Conduct thorough analyses and reconciliations of payroll using all internal systems
  • Address and resolve complex payroll issues
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to maintain unified operations
  • Respond to audit inquiries and participate in regular discussions with both external and internal auditors
  • Manage local audit activities with a focus on payroll components
  • Engage in ongoing improvement projects, proactively seeking and testing enhancements
  • Produce on-demand reports as needed
  • Apply expert-level MS Office skills, particularly Excel, for payroll management and data analysis
  • Administer and oversee ERP systems to facilitate smooth payroll operations
  • Exhibit a high level of stress resilience when handling payroll deadlines
Requirements
  • Academic background in Economics, Finance, or Accounting
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Payroll Accountant or similar role
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong sense of responsibility and meticulous attention to detail
  • Capable of effectively managing and synthesizing information from diverse sources
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and deliver results
  • Strong proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional setting
Nice to have
  • Proficiency with SAP, especially in payroll management and financial reporting
  • Experience with the financial aspects of company acquisitions
  • Knowledge of handling payroll in multiple currencies
