We are seeking a dedicated Senior NetApp Storage Engineer to manage and support our NetApp ONTAP storage platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.

Responsibilities
- Implement and support NetApp ONTAP storage solutions both on-premises and in cloud settings
- Provision, modify, and decommission NetApp volumes, exports, and CIFS/SMB shares
- Perform routine monitoring, capacity checks, performance troubleshooting, and basic tuning
- Support integration of storage systems with Active Directory and DNS for access control and share permissions
- Participate in incident and problem management as L2 support and escalate issues appropriately
- Assist with disaster recovery configurations and activities such as SnapMirror replication and failover tasks
- Execute patching and upgrade tasks following established standards and runbooks
- Contribute to automation efforts using scripting or Infrastructure as Code under guidance
- Maintain and update documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in storage engineering or administration with hands-on expertise in NetApp ONTAP
- Strong understanding of NFS and CIFS/SMB protocols including performance and troubleshooting basics
- Knowledge of NetApp concepts such as storage virtual machines, volumes, aggregates, snapshots, and replication
- Experience integrating storage with Active Directory and DNS for CIFS/SMB shares and access control
- Proven experience supporting production environments with incident and change management via ITSM processes
- Ability to follow technical runbooks and procedures and document solutions clearly
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2) to communicate effectively within cross-functional teams
Nice to have
- Exposure to cloud-hosted NetApp solutions such as Cloud Volumes ONTAP
- Basic scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Shell
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code or CI/CD tools
- Experience with enterprise monitoring and logging tools for storage environments
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
