Responsibilities
- Develop and modernize software applications in collaboration with a distributed team using best practices
- Design and architect complex software systems with a focus on scalability and performance
- Contribute to decision-making processes around technical design and product architecture
- Participate in all phases of the Agile development lifecycle, including design, programming, testing, documentation, quality assurance, and implementation
- Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold coding standards and mentor team members through constructive feedback
- Drive product innovation and contribute ideas during "innovation time" or team brainstorming sessions
- Assist in defining technical strategies to align with business vision and objectives
- Address application performance and scalability issues, applying problem-solving skills to complex software challenges
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in developing cloud-native applications including full-stack development, C#/.NET Core, and TypeScript
- Expertise in Angular and REST/GraphQL APIs with a solid understanding of microservices and MVC architectural patterns
- Database experience spanning both SQL and NoSQL technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with tools for automation
- Experience working with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and software development practices
- Knowledge of design patterns and N-Tier architecture, with a background in SaaS-based software development for enterprise-class applications
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities with a refined attention to detail
- Solid communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across tech and business teams
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar cloud platforms
- Background in Azure DevOps and its integration within CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of algorithms and efficient data structure implementations
- Capability to produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Flexibility to translate business requirements into analytics solutions and leverage data modeling tools
