We're seeking a Senior Microsoft Azure Developer to join our remote team. This role is within a global leader in cutting-edge technology, and we are actively searching for a skilled developer to collaborate with development peers and technical staff to create innovative and impactful solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background in Azure and experience with containerization and deployment tools like Docker, Git, Helm, and Kubernetes. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the design, development, and optimization of features in a dynamic Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

Designing and developing Azure-based applications and solutions
Working closely with development peers, product leadership, and other technical staff to create innovative and impactful solutions
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
Leading Azure-based projects and ensuring high-quality standards at every stage of development
Guaranteeing reliability, availability, performance, and scalability of systems
Providing technical input for new feature requirements, partnering with business owners and architects
Reviewing requirements and translating them into documented technical designs for implementation
Ensuring continuous improvement by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
Participating in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards
Actively contributing to architectural and technical discussions

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in Azure Cloud architecture, design, and implementation
Expertise in Kubernetes and its ecosystem in mission-critical services with best practices
Proficient in Terraform/Helm deployment and configuration scripting language
Experience working with relational/NoSQL databases (Mongo and/or Postgres) is an advantage
Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD for version control, integration, and deployment
Strong experience in BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and TDD (Test Driven Development)
Knowledge of IAM concepts, including OIDC and OAuth2
Experience implementing, migrating, managing, and operating systems/applications in an enterprise cloud computing environment
At least 3 years of experience in agile delivery (Scrum, Spotify, SAFe)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
English proficiency (written and spoken) is mandatory at the B2+ level

Nice to have

Experience with AWS is an advantage
Certifications in Azure or AWS are an advantage
