We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Center of Excellence team.
You will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure and software delivery pipelines, ensuring reliable and efficient cloud services for internal clients. Responsibilities
- Develop automation solutions using modern scripting languages such as PowerShell, ARM/Bicep, YAML, Terraform, and C#
- Build and deploy cloud resources using Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies
- Implement and manage solutions leveraging Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment
- Perform operational tasks using Azure native monitoring tools including Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, and Azure Security Center
- Maintain and update comprehensive documentation for products and operational procedures on the CCoE wiki
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary DevOps team to own new development and operational activities
- Provide support and assistance to the clients onboarding to the cloud environment
- Ensure security compliance for clients onboarded to the cloud platform
- Execute network platform operations including configuration and management
Requirements
- Strong experience in Microsoft Azure platform with at least 3 years in cloud engineering roles
- Proven expertise in Azure DevOps, Azure Networking, Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, and Azure Resource Manager
- Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance
- Experience configuring and using IaaS and PaaS services such as Virtual Machines, WebApps, Database services, Kubernetes, Data Lake, and Databricks
- Understanding of networking protocols including IP subnetting, Network Security Groups, routing, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, Load Balancer, and DNS
- Demonstrated ability to apply engineering and coding skills in an agile environment
- Good communication and presentation skills with ability to effectively express ideas and provide constructive feedback
- Customer-focused mindset with strong documentation skills
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)
Nice to have
- Experience with .NET API Development and Integration
- Knowledge of Azure Databases and Azure Security best practices
- Familiarity with Bicep, Terraform, YAML, and PowerShell scripting
- Background in Kubernetes and Linux environments
- Experience mentoring team members and working within Scaled Agile Framework
