Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer to join our dynamic team.

In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with developing and implementing test processes and tools for our high-performance compute-based products, ensuring their efficiency and effectiveness in Google's data centers. Your primary goal will be to guarantee that our manufacturing test processes are both repeatable and controlled, and that our products seamlessly integrate into Google's infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Develop manufacturing test strategies covering structural, functional, and system tests
  • Design and implement test processes, tools, and procedures for new products
  • Collaborate closely with product design and manufacturing teams to ensure testability is incorporated into product designs
  • Lead the creation of complex test solutions for high-performance compute-based products
  • Serve as the technical focal point for both internal and external clients regarding manufacturing testing
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve test-related issues
  • Continuously improve test procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency
  • Document test protocols and results for validation and quality assurance purposes
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on manufacturing test processes
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Python and Linux
  • Experience in manufacturing test and software development using Python
  • Background in creating manufacturing test strategies from structural through functional and system tests
  • Expertise in architecting complex manufacturing test solutions for high-performance compute-based products
  • Embedded/hardware experience
  • Competency in GIT, Bash scripting
  • Knowledge of OOP, code architectures, Data Structures, Regex
  • Understanding of Unit testing methods and practices
  • Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

  • Experience in a leadership or mentorship role
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles
