Senior Manual Tester

We are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Manual Tester to join our remote team. Our client is a prominent figure in the healthcare industry, with specializations in pharmaceutical supply chain management, provision of medical services, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment. In this capacity, you will use your expertise to enhance the usability and integrity of critical software. Your role will be crucial in ensuring high-end quality checks and balances in software under test. If you excel at analyzing software systems and identifying potential issues from a user perspective, you’re just the professional we need.

Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly review software requirements, seeking clarifications as needed to ensure comprehensive understanding
  • Develop a deep understanding of the software under test and any associated software
  • Obtain or create test data necessary for extensive software testing
  • Contribute to the creation of various test documents and artifacts
  • Create thorough test cases based on the available requirements and documentation
  • Undertake the testing of software releases via execution of assigned manual or automated tests
  • Deliver clear and concise test result reports
  • Amend test cases based on identified defects and process changes
  • Provide team support as required, participating in miscellaneous testing tasks
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Manual Tester, predominantly in web application testing environments
  • Advanced skills in requirement analysis, interpreting and understanding complex software requirements
  • Deep comprehension and hands-on experience of the software development life cycle
  • Exceptional abilities in reading and analyzing logs for accurate defect identification
  • Competence in prioritizing test cases based on risk analysis
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) methodology
  • Proficient in GUI testing, ensuring visual aspects align with user expectations
  • Extensive experience conducting regression testing to ensure software enhancements don't introduce new glitches
  • Proficiency in SQL for effective database testing
  • Experience in system testing, validating overall system functionality
  • Skilled in web service / API test automation, ensuring seamless interconnections
  • Demonstrable experience in mentoring team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing
  • High proficiency in English (B2+), facilitating effective communication across teams and with stakeholders
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with Automation testing for test efficiency
  • Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical sector would be an asset
  • Acquired professional certifications in software testing
