We are seeking an experienced Senior Mainframe Natural Developer to join our team focused on delivering high-quality software solutions. This role involves building and maintaining applications using the Natural programming language and managing Adabas databases to support client objectives. Responsibilities
- Create and implement software applications utilizing the Natural programming language
- Update and improve existing software to fit business requirements
- Oversee and optimize Adabas database operations including design and performance tuning
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and translate business requirements into technical documents
- Design and execute thorough unit and integration testing to uphold software standards
- Resolve software issues and enhance system performance
- Document development processes and technical designs for future reference
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience of 3+ years in Mainframe application development
- Expert knowledge of Natural programming language and Mainframe programming languages
- Strong background in managing and tuning Adabas databases
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement business requirements
- Solid experience in software testing and troubleshooting
- Fluent in English at an advanced (C1) level
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
