Responsibilities
- Design software solutions that align with user needs
- Test and debug applications to ensure optimal performance
- Develop and maintain frontend components using JavaScript and React
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate REST APIs and Node.js services
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including Product Management and Customer Service
- Estimate tasks and manage production deadlines efficiently
- Contribute to the evolution of AI-assisted legal technology platforms
- Support and enhance existing SaaS products through ongoing maintenance
- Participate in code reviews and share knowledge within the engineering team
- Adhere to best practices in software development and security
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and onboarding of new team members
- Ensure compatibility and performance across different environments including Windows VDI
Requirements
- Proven experience of 3+ years in JavaScript development including async/await, Promises, and array/object methods
- Strong knowledge of React framework and its ecosystem
- Experience with backend development and API integration using Node.js
- Demonstrated ability to build and deliver complex web systems to clients
- Effective communication skills to interact with users, technical teams, and management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- Ability to work at least 3-4 hours overlapping with California PDT timezone
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2) to collaborate within a global team

- Experience working with databases and data management
- Ability to perform self-sufficient testing without reliance on QA teams
- Background or interest in legal technology
- Advanced Python skills for full-stack development
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts
