Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior JavaScript Developer to join our team.
The customer provides a complete and optimized research solution comprised of e-journals, e-books, and research databases — all combined with the most powerful discovery service to support the information needs and maximize the research experience of its end-users.
Responsibilities
- Implementing new product functionality
- Supporting existing code, participating in Code Review
- Participating in the design of the application architecture
- Working in a team, participating in daily rallies
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional web development experience using JavaScript
- 3+ years of experience in large systems software design and development with hands-on experience in RESTful APIs
- 3+ years of experience with Web Services lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy), API versioning and design approaches, tools, inter-operability, and SOA concepts
- 3+ years of front-end development experience with a fluency and passion for modern JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS, Next.js, Redux)
- Demonstrated success delivering projects using HTML/CSS
- Advanced understanding of private and public cloud design considerations and limitations in the areas of virtualization and global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing, networking, and security
- Experience with user interface and graphic design
- Hands-on experience in developing, delivering, and supporting public-facing web applications
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services
- English level B2+
