Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Developer with 5+ years of web development experience using front-end frameworks and experience in building and deploying software systems in cloud-based technologies to join our team.
The customer is an American luxury department store chain. The company originated as a shoe store and evolved into a full-line retailer with departments for clothing, footwear, handbags, jewelry, accessories, cosmetics, and fragrances.
Responsibilities
- Produce well designed and testable code using industry best practices
- Ensure quality and availability of software systems by applying best practices for monitoring and alerting best practices
- Cross collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment of team objectives and offerings
Requirements
- 5+ years of web development experience using front-end frameworks (Node.js, React)
- Mastery in front-end coding technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML)
- Experience in building and deploying software systems in cloud-based technologies (AWS)
- Experience with designing and building APIs
- Experience with GitLab
- Experience in developing cloud-based solutions in AWS
- Strong problem solving and programming skills
- Proficient English (written and spoken) B2
Nice to have
- Experience with Java or .NET / C#
- Experience with Kafka
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience in SQL, Python
- Experience with full development life cycle and agile methodology
