We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our remote team and contribute to the development of a cutting-edge software product. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex software systems using Java and related technologies. You will be working in an Agile environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex software systems using Java and related technologies
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure the quality of the software by writing unit tests and participating in code reviews
- Identify and fix bugs and performance issues
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Java Developer, with a strong understanding of Java Core and Java 8
- Experience with Spring Boot, Microservice Architecture Pattern, and NoSQL Databases
- Expertise in Unit Testing and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud-based platforms
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
- Experience working in an Agile environment and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
Nice to have
- Experience with other programming languages, such as Python or JavaScript
- Experience with DevOps tools and technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with front-end technologies, such as React or Angular
