We are seeking a seasoned Senior Java Full-Stack Developer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting and maintaining distributed RESTful web application microservices using Java and will play an integral role in ensuring our products operate seamlessly in production environments. This position requires a strong background in Java development, experience with AWS services, and the ability to develop effective technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and build distributed RESTful web application microservices using Java
- Utilize AWS services such as ECS, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, RDS, and CloudWatch
- Write automated tests to be executed in CI/CD pipelines
- Develop and communicate effective solutions for technical/product problems
- Support products in production using tools like Splunk and SignalFx for observability and alerting
- Enhance application performance and mitigate potential risks by conducting thorough testing
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with Java in designing and building microservices
- Minimum 2 years of experience with AWS services including ECS, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, RDS, and CloudWatch
- Proficiency in Python, particularly for lambda functions
- Expertise in writing automated tests for CI/CD pipelines
- Qualifications in developing and communicating technical solutions
- Skills in supporting production environments using observability and alerting tools such as Splunk and SignalFx
